are used for livestock and large pet stalls.

wood planning mills.
|
Medium Fresh Hemlock
Medium
Hemlock Bark is a premium fresh ground
product with a redder color than Fir Bark.
It is ground to a 1-1/4" minus size. It
smells sweeter than fir bark and does not
produce as many slivers making it more
pleasant to handle.
Use Medium Hemlock Bark on landscape areas 2" to 3" deep to reduce weed growth
and erosion, and hold in moisture. Keep away from tree and shrub trunks. Water
bark mulched landscape beds deeply and infrequently. Fertilize plants before
application.

Bark
Nuggets 1
These
Mini-Bark Nuggets are small fir bark chips
that have the fines removed sizes range from
3/8 inch to 3/4 inch. This material is a
very clean and formal look, giving small
shrubs a beautiful backdrop.
Use the Mini-Bark Nuggets as mulch to allow water and air to penetrate deep into
the soil, and significantly reduce any windblown weeds from growing. Put it down
3 to 4 inches deep over landscape fabric for the perfect weed barrier system.

Fine Dark Fir
Fine Dark Fir
Bark is an aged bark that is screened to a
3/4th inch minus size. It is stable and dark
in color, providing moisture holding
properties and a more neutral pH than Fresh
Fir Bark.
This all-purpose bark can be blended into soils or potting mixes to add organic
matter, or be applied as a mulch to landscape beds, 2 to 3 inches deep. The dark
color provides a natural look to landscape beds. When blending into soils,
fertilize at rates recommended for the plant's needs.
|
Hog Fuel
Hog Fuel is
100% Recycled wood (stumps). Excellent when
used for covering wet areas, erosion
control, pathways or temporary road base,
low cost alternative for mud control.
Hog Fuel is very useful in a horse paddock
for the horse, environment, and footing
material, controls odor, can be blown into
place for convenience. See the blower truck
pricing.

Medium Dark
Hemlock
Medium Dark
Hemlock Bark is a premium aged and ground
product with a darker color and is more
stable than a fresh bark product. It is
ground to a 1-1/4" minus size. It smells
sweeter than fir bark and does not produce
as many slivers making it more pleasant to
handle.
Medium Dark Hemlock is an all-purpose bark that can be blended into soils or
potting mixes to add organic matter, or be applied as a mulch to landscape beds,
2 to 3 inches deep. When used as a mulch, the dark color provides a natural look
to landscape beds. When blending into soils, fertilize at rates recommended for
the plant's needs. The size is coarser than fine dark fir, and is better for
working into clay soils to allow more air into the denser soils.

Bark Nuggets 3/4
These
mid-range Bark Nuggets are medium sized fir
bark chips that have the fines removed,
sizes range from 1 inch to 2 inches. This
material is a very clean and formal look,
giving small shrubs a beautiful backdrop.
Use the medium Bark Nuggets as mulch to allow water and air to penetrate deep
into the soil, and significantly reduce any windblown weeds from growing. Put it
down 3 to 4 inches deep over landscape fabric for the perfect weed barrier
system.

Cedar Chips
Cedar Chips
are cedar wood pieces or flakes that range
from 1/2 inch to 3 inches in length. Fines
have been removed to maximize drain ability
and durability.
Cedar Chips are the ideal long-lasting wood pathway material to fill muddy
areas, reduce weeds and look great.

Medium Fresh Fir
Medium Fresh
Fir Bark has the bright red/orange color
traditionally used to make your landscape
plants stand out. Screened to 1 ¼” minus, it
has a mix of particle sizes to allow soils
to breathe.
Apply Medium Fresh Fir Bark to the surface of landscape areas 2 to 3 inches deep
to reduce weed growth, retain moisture and protect the soil from erosion. Keep
bark from settling against tree or shrub trunks. Water mulched landscape beds
deeply and infrequently during dry weather, 1 inch per week.

Fine Fresh Fir
Fine Fresh
Fir Bark is a freshly ground, fresh bark
product with a bright red/orange color and
screened to a 3/4 inch minus particle size.
It provides a consistent fine texture, a
slightly acid pH for native acid-soil loving
plants.
Apply Fine Fresh Fir Bark to the surface of landscape areas 2 to 3 inches deep
to landscape beds. This will provide moisture retention in the soil and some
weed control as well. Avoid Excessive Mulch Buildup: When bed depth rises above
the base of shrubs, remove 2 to 3 inches of the underlying mulch material and
save it for other planting uses. Nitrogen Adjustment: Fresh bark mulches may tie
up nitrogen as they decompose. This is a normal process and may be easily
compensated for by gently working a specially formulated fertilizer such as a
20-10-10 into the soil before mulching. A fertilizer application rate of 1 to 2
pounds per 100 square feet is a reasonable amount. After applying fertilizer and
mulching, follow recommended fertilizer programs to maintain good plant growth.
