Cedar Chips
Cedar Chips are 1" to 2" wood chips with the fines screened out to make a very porous, and bright bedding. The clean smell of cedar and consistent shape and color makes it stand out from all our other wood products.

Cedar Chips are used for animal runs to keep the ground soft and clean and reduce fleas and ticks. It makes a great footpath material, and can be used under play ground equipment. Use 1" of depth for every 1 foot of fall height. This product will settle over time so plan for extra to keep the right depth.

Fine Dark Fir Bark
Fine Dark Fir Bark is an aged bark that is screened to a 3/8th inch minus size. It is stable and dark in color, providing moisture holding properties and a more neutral pH than Fresh Fir Bark.

This all-purpose bark can be blended into soils or potting mixes to add organic matter, or be applied as a mulch to landscape beds, 1 to 2 inches deep. The dark color provides a natural look to landscape beds. When blending into soils, fertilize at rates recommended for the plant's needs.

Bark Nuggets
Bark Nuggets are fir bark chips that fit through a 2" screen. This material is loose and looks large compared to other bark products giving a rugged natural look to landscape areas. The look may overwhelm small annual flower plantings, but is perfect for trees and shrubs.

Use 3 to 4 inches of Bark Nuggets on shrubbery and tree beds to eliminate windblown weed-seed growth and allow water to penetrate deep into the soil. Gentle slopes are good, but on steep slopes this product will shift. Cats hate this stuff!
